I’m a person who lives life to the fullest and does not leave any stone unturned in helping others. This quest to discover myself and probing deeper into the realm of my existence has made me evolve as a bestseller Author, RJ with FM Rainbow, Art of Living teacher, Bharatnatyam dancer, Title winner ‘Diva of Faridabad in Mrs. Faridabad 2017’ beauty pageant, Lawyer and Social Activist
When did you first start writing?
As young as 7 years old. My first poem at the age of 7 was published in The Statesman and in two years my second poem was published in The Telegraph newspaper
Do you remember what you wrote first?
Old man of sixty years Was in jail for sixteen years, For a crime he did not do But for Love’s sake he accepted without ado!
How did you get interested in writing?
It’s a gift from God and flows spontaneously
Who or what has been inspiration?
Nature and its bounty always inspired me
Who are your favorite authors/poets? Why?
I love reading Italo Calvino’s writings as it offers deeper insights into life and it’s enigmatic ways
How do you feel when you write?
Free…. Absolutely free
What are your other hobbies?
I love reading, dancing, yoga and meditation
How did you feel when you got your selection mail?
Overwhelmed and Grateful to God
What do you think about poetry?
It’s the best expression of the heart, a gypsy soul cradled in nature
Do you think rhymes are important for poems? Why so?
Rhymes are not that important. Poems written in a prosaic style is also fine as long as its communicating the heart’s woes and longings

What do you wish to say to budding writers?
Do not write a narrative. Write to instill values through stories.
