A passionate teacher by vocation, hardcore biologist, nature-lover naturalist), videographer-photographer (especially nature), music-lover, sports enthusiast, emotional yet strong emotionally, with painting-drawing as hobbies, fairly balanced person, poet at heart always.

 

When did you first start writing? *

1973, July 19

 

Do you remember what you wrote first? *

Yes

पहिलं प्रेम….. (मराठी) पहिलं प्रेम झालं विफल, वाटलं होतं, होईल ते सफल, म्हणून, मन झालय विकल, पूर्वी होतं जे चंचल-चपल…..

 

How did you get interested in writing? *

Basically, it appears to be inharent, and life experiences…

 

Who or what has been inspiration? *

Father, and that “She” in life..

 

Who are your favorite authors/poets? Why? *

No, specifically

 

How do you feel when you write? *

Feel relaxed, excited, satisfied, elated, happy, enthused…. depending upon the mood

 

What are your other hobbies? *

Long-rides on my bike, long-drives, especially in Nature and countryside, painting-drawing, videography and photography, especially of Nature…

 

How did you feel when you got your selection mail? *

Happy, desire fulfilled….

 

What do you think about poetry? *

Oh!! Soothing touchthat it provides, also expression to creative, emotional inner self, gratification.

 

Do you think rhymes are important for poems? Why so? *

I like rhyming, as it gives rhythm to, those lines, and so the expressions

 

A few words for your readers? *

Take these lines, may be as yours, representing many of us…. who might have experienced these thoughts, but might not have been able to express poetically… Love and encouragement of you all will be motivating.

 

What do you wish to say to budding writers? *

Have the clarity of thought, be absolutely true to the needs of grammar; not to use, FB, What’s app short forms; be serious about the correctness and purity of the language; not to mix up different languages…..
